A message from your counselors
We know it is a stressful time for everyone in our community - but we are still here to help you in anyway that we can! We have compiled some resources to help our students and families during this break from school. We miss you all and are excited to see you once we return. In the mean time, here are some things that you can do for yourself.
1. Wear a mask!!!
2. Stay Healthy. Practice good hygiene. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze and wash your hands with soap and water.
3. If it is nice outside, go for a walk, ride your bike, play sports or anything to get some exercise and fresh air.
4. Practice mindfulness by doing yoga, meditation or deep breathing.
5. Keep up with your schoolwork. Continue to work on your skills through extra academic activities provided by your teachers!
6. Be kind to your family. Kindness is important too!
7. Talk to your parents or guardians if you are feeling worried or anxious.
8. Write a letter or draw a picture for someone. Explore your creative side!
9. Play a board game or cards with your family. Have family time as much as possible.
10. Remember to have fun and be a kid. Don't worry too much!
We are looking forward a great 2020/2021 school year!
